Scars are fibrous tissue which replace normal skin after the dermis, which gets deteriorated following a wound or sore. A skin usually appears in the brownish, blackish or pinkish color.

Be sure to rub with your fingertips in a circular fashion, this circular motion is what smooths out the appearance of your scars and helps blend in the scars to your natural complexion. Try to do this to your face where you have acne scarring at least twice every day, it works great.
