What kind of surgery/procedure will completely remove my stretch marks?
I’m a Black 19 year old girl and I’ve had stretch marks since I was 12 or 13. The stretch marks are white/silver now.
I’ve tried some crazy home remedies, cocoa butter, and vitamin e oil. None have worked.
I’m desperate enough to have surgery now. I can’t imagine myself being intimate with a guy as long as I have these stretch marks.
I’ve done some research and I know that laser treatment isn’t going to be effective. It just isn’t on darker skin.
I know surgery is the only way but what I don’t know is what that surgery entails. I’ve also heard of using roller pin but that sounds painful.
I just want to know my options and what will really work for a black woman.
I’m not really fat. I’m 5 feet 2 inches and I’ve never been more than 120 pounds.
I think the only surgery that will work involves removing that skin entirely, which is not possible, because you’d need a lot of extra skin for that. And the only way to get extra skin is to gain a lot of weight and then lose it, and that will just result in more stretch marks. In other words, I don’t think there’s anything to do. But the real reason I replied to this question is that I think the thing you should work on is self-esteem and appreciation of your beauty. Virtually ALL women have stretch marks. ALL stretch marks fade with time till they’re almost invisible. It’s sad that you can’t imagine being intimate with a guy while you have stretch marks. First of all, no guy is really going to care, unless he’s a major @sshole. And I’m going to assume you don’t actually want to date any @ssholes, so that’s no loss. Second, like I said, virtually all women have stretch marks. They’re natural, they’re normal, they’re common, they’re accepted by any guy who is worthwhile for you to be intimate with. He probably won’t even notice them, because that’s not what his attention is focused on. You have far more charms to recommend you! Another thing guys are attracted to is confidence. The kind of confidence that causes you not to stress out about your appearance to such a large extent as to be embarrassed about your stretch marks. And finally: candle-light. Seriously. That’s the best kind of light to be intimate in. You can see everything you need to see, your skin has a soft glow to it, and small things like stretch marks aren’t even visible. Candle-light is a lot easier and cheaper than surgery or laser treatments, and much more pleasant.
